Demonstration - a dog portrait in oils





There are many approaches one can take to producing an oil painting. I use a method taught to me by Dorset art tutor James Meiklejohn who in turn trained at Heatherley School of Fine Art, London. It is a technique that has stood the test of time and one I find works really well for portraiture.
